Predict the situation
Use the title, context and answer choices to anticipate likely vocabulary before listening.
Listen for purpose
First identify who is speaking, where they are and what they want. Details become easier once the situation is clear.
Follow signposts
Words such as pourtant, donc, finalement and en revanche reveal relationships between ideas.
Review actively
After listening, write what caused difficulty: unknown vocabulary, speed, sound recognition or loss of attention.
Repeat with a goal
On a second listen, focus only on the missed element. Repetition should answer a question, not become passive replay.
